The journey begins with an exhilarating flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region. From there, you trek through picturesque trails, passing vibrant villages and terraced fields along the way. The itinerary allows ample time to acclimatize, ensuring a comfortable journey through the higher altitudes.
Thame Village (3,800m): A tranquil village known for its ancient monastery and stunning mountain views, far from the bustling trails of Namche Bazaar.
Phortse (3,840m): A peaceful village perched on a ridge, offering breathtaking views and a genuine insight into Sherpa life.
Tengboche (3,867m): Home to the Tengboche Monastery, a spiritual center surrounded by awe-inspiring peaks.
The trek concludes as you retrace your steps back to Lukla, where you fly back to Kathmandu, leaving with unforgettable memories of the majestic Himalayas and the welcoming Sherpa culture.
The trek is graded as moderate, with daily hikes of 5–7 hours. Though it does not demand technical climbing skills, trekkers should be prepared for uphill and downhill walks at high altitudes.

Upon your arrival time, Our representative from Jolly Himalaya, will reach Kathmandu International Airport [TIA] to welcome and receive you. You will then be escorted to your hotel where you are staying.
After enjoying morning breakfast, You will visit world heritage monuments such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Swoyambunat and Bouddhanath. Or shoping around thamel In the evening, our trekking guide/ representative will conduct a briefing about the trekking program before dinner.
Wake up early today to catch a mountain flight to Lukla, the gateway to Mt. Everest. Unload your rucksacks and star trekking towards Phakding. Enroute you will pass through pine and oak forests with occasional chirping sound of birds.
Have a warm breakfast and take in the crispy air. The trail leaving Phakding parallels the Dudkhosi River alongside the forested hills. Crossing of the suspension bridge over the confluence of Bhotekoshi and Dudhkoshi allows for a first glimpse of Everest and other peaks The last segment is fairly uphill trek till you reach Namche Bazar.

he trek from Thame (3,800m) to Khumjung (3,790m) offers an enriching journey through the heart of the Khumbu region, blending serene landscapes with deep cultural experiences. Leaving Thame, the trail descends gently along the Bhote Koshi River, passing through scattered Sherpa villages and pristine forests of pine and rhododendron. As you walk, you'll encounter mani walls, prayer flags, and chortens that reflect the spiritual essence of the region.
The path eventually ascends towards the quaint village of Khumjung, nestled in a valley beneath the towering peak of Khumbila, a sacred mountain for the Sherpas. Khumjung is renowned for its monastery, which houses a legendary "Yeti scalp," and the famous Hillary School, established by Sir Edmund Hillary as part of his philanthropic efforts in the region.
The trek from Khumjung (3800m) to Phortse (3,840m) is a rewarding journey through less-traveled trails, offering captivating views and an authentic experience of Sherpa culture. Leaving Khumjung, the trail gently ascends, passing through lush rhododendron and juniper forests, with occasional glimpses of soaring peaks like Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Everest in the distance.
As you descend into the Dudh Koshi Valley, you’ll cross suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags and encounter small villages where life remains steeped in tradition. Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife, such as Himalayan monals, musk deer, and even the elusive snow leopard in the higher reaches.
The trek from Phortse (3,840m) to Tengboche (3,860m) via Pangboche is a scenic and spiritually enriching journey through the heart of the Khumbu region. The trail initially descends through a forested path, crossing the Dudh Koshi River on a sturdy suspension bridge. From here, the route ascends towards Pangboche (3,930m), the highest permanently inhabited Sherpa village, known for its ancient monastery—the oldest in the Khumbu region. A visit to the Pangboche Monastery provides a unique glimpse into Tibetan Buddhism and the spiritual traditions of the Sherpa people.
As you continue, the trail offers stunning vistas of iconic peaks, including Ama Dablam, Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse, creating a breathtaking backdrop. The walk from Pangboche to Tengboche traverses undulating terrain, with sections through dense rhododendron and pine forests.

The path crosses the Dudh Koshi River via a suspension bridge, offering a final look at the towering peaks of Ama Dablam, Everest, and Thamserku.
As you ascend gently towards Namche, the trail passes through small Sherpa villages and vibrant prayer wheels, showcasing the region's spiritual essence. The terraced fields, mani stones, and grazing yaks add to the picturesque scenery. Along the way, you'll encounter teahouses and friendly locals, providing opportunities to learn about their culture and traditions.
